Tarheel Auto Service provides automotive service for individual and fleet customers with  domestic and Asian vehicles.

We recognize the importance of  reliable daily transporation.  In order to get your car back on the road as soon as possible, Saturday and early morning appointments are availabe by request, in addition to regular business hours. Upon initial vehicle inspection, customer consultations are available. Additionally, when it is clear a cost-effective repair is not feasibile, we will  recommend not reparing the vehicle.

Tarheel Auto Service, Inc was established in 2001 to provide quality  auto service to the general public.  At Tarheel Auto Service, we seek  to increase the life of your car through  cost effective services and preventative maintenace. For example, unlike generic oil changes, Tarheel Auto Service's includes safety and tire pressure checks,  and greasing fittings.  It iis our goal to provide  individualized service based on each customer's vehicle.

Robert Leonard, the owner, continuously 

expands his automotive knowledge by 

attending continuing education classes on the latest technology in repair services. Robert has over 35 years of automotive experience, including performance engine building. Robert graduated from Cape Fear Community College in 1991 with a degree in machining where he learned parts and tool fabrication, and the importance of tight tolerances. He is regionally known by other automotive shops who send him GM programming and troubleshooting.
